What AI does for you
- Job recommendations: a vector of your resume and preferences is compared with every job to order your Recommended list.
- Match levels: an AI estimates how well a job fits (Strong, Good, Medium, Low) with a short reason. Only you see it.
- Job reading: an AI reads every posting to pull out experience, pay and work-authorization wording before it is listed.
- Resume pitches and bullets: drafted from your own resume; nothing reaches a recruiter until you approve it. Spoken pitches are labelled as an AI voice.
- Electron: an AI assistant that searches jobs and talks about your resume. It says it is an AI, and it does not remember past conversations unless you turn that on.
What AI never does
- Show an employer a score, rank, summary or note about you.
- Reject an application. Screening answers are compared with fixed rules the employer wrote and shown as a neutral flag; a person at the employer decides.
- Train on your data. Our AI providers process your data under contracts that forbid it.
Switches and defaults
Settings › Data privacy › AI and automated decisions has a switch for each feature, and the app works with all of them off. If you live in Québec or Singapore, personalised recommendations and match levels start off until you turn them on. Candidate Discovery is separate, opt-in, and your consent lasts 90 days.
Talk to a person
From any job you applied to, or from the AI settings page, you can request an accommodation, ask a person to review a decision, ask how a match level was reached, or correct a fact. Requests are logged with a date and answered in the app: accommodations within 7 days, the rest within 30.
